Tink You Fairy Much

Good Morning Everyone...Whew...I'm finished cleaning and reorganizing my craft room. What a chore! I should be able to come out to play on Monday...LOL! Today's card was made earlier this week for our good friends Bob and Kathi. I wanted to give it enough time for them to receive before posting. They had us to their home last Saturday evening for dinner. A home cooked meal is always a real treat for me since I do so little of it myself. Bob made his famous pasta that was absolutely delicious and Kathi had made THE best apple pie I have EVER tasted.
Here is the card along with the description. I'm going to a new format that I hope will save room and time. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to leave a comment along with your email address and I will get back with you! Here's the Recipe---
Card Size:
A2
MCPT: Prismacolor/OMS
Stamps/Image: Disney Clip Art
Cuttlebug: Swiss Dots
Nestabilities: Circle/scallop, Oval/Scallop
Sizzix: Scribbles Swirls
Punches: Martha Stewart 3 Butterfly
Font: Computer generated-LD Luv
Accessories: ribbon, glitter, silver flat back pearls

Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your weekend!

Good Morning Everyone!

Good Morning Everyone! No card to post today. I started a card yesterday but was unable to complete it for all the mess. I am not an organized crafter to begin with and am know to change my mind several times throughout a project so I'm going to take a few days off to clean up this mess that I call a craft room! When making a card is a source of frustration because you can't find anything, it's time to clean up! Enjoy the rest of your week and hopefully I'll be back in a few days.

Tigger Halloween/Have A Boo-Tiful Day

Good Morning Everyone! Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Here are the last of my Halloween cards. I made these a while back but didn't post them because the special people that they were made for take a sneak peek at my blog every now and again and I wanted them to have a chance to receive the cards before seeing them here. They are both easel cards and now that they have been posted, I will be making this type of card more often.

This first one was made for our good friends Bob and Kathi who are Disney enthusiasts and when I seen this clip art image of Tigger, I thought it would be perfect for their Halloween card. Click here to get this or one of the other 6 free Disney Halloween clip art images.

Tigger was colored with Prisma pencils and OMS then layered on circle/scallop Nestibilities that orange flat back pearls have been added to the scallops then pop dotted to the background. The background layer was embossed with the Cuttlebug spider web embossing folder that glitter was added to the embossment. The band was cut with the Martha Stewart crooked fence punch that a ribbon knot was added. Their names were computer generated using Waltograph font then cut with a circle Nestibilty and placed on a tag made with Cuttlebug Babyface die then tied to the ribbon knot with craft yarn. The Boo is a Michael's dollar bin stamp that was stamped twice. The letters were cut then pop dotted on the image that was cut and pop dotted on the background. The spiders were cut with Cuttlebug Halloween 3 x 3 Halloween die and googly eyes added. The inside or bottom of the card was stamped using a spider web image from Inkadinkadoo stamp set and the sentiment was computer generated using Waltograph font. A Mickey ear plastic embellishment was added as the stop for the easel.

The second card was made for my good friend Gigi and her husband Eduardo. When I seen Lillie's card "Boo Did I Scare You" I knew I was going to have to copy her idea for the ghost.

The ghost image was cut with Cricut Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge several times and glued together to make it more substantial, added googly eyes and doodle dots then pop dotted on a circle/scallop Nestibility. The Boo was cut with Cuttlebug 3 x 3 Halloween die and added to the circle along with black flat back pearls to the scallops. The moon was cut with a circle Nestibility then stamped with the witch image from Inkadinkadoo. The bat and spider were cut with Cuttlebug 3 x 3 Halloween die. Googly eyes and embroidery thread were added to the spider and flat back gems were added to the bat. a ribbon knot was added to the vertical band. The inside or the bottom was stamped with a Inkadinkadoo witch image. The sentiment is from the Cutting Cafe Halloween This and That Printable set. Brads were added for the easel stop.

That's it for today. Enjoy your day and I hope to see you tomorrow!

Boo...Did I Scare You

Happy Friday! I hope everyone is ready for the weekend! A super quick and easy card today using The Cutting Cafe Printable Stamps.
I used The Cricut Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge to cut the ghosts. I cut each ghost twice then glue them together to make it more substantial, added googly eyes and pop dotted them on the background layer. The sentiment is from The Cutting Cafe Halloween This and That Set and was printed then cut with Spellbinder tag that an eyelet was added then tied it to the ribbon knot.
That's it for today. Have a great weekend, hope to see you again on Monday!

O Christmas Tree O Christmas Tree

Hey There....Me AGAIN! I just couldn't leave my craft room without posting one more card. Regina over at The Cutting Cafe has a new Printable Stamp Set called Christmas All Around and they are SO cute! You really need to check them out...they are AWESOME! I am really going to have fun with these! My husband says "Thanks, Regina...Now I'll NEVER get her out of the craft room"...LOL! Anyway, I was telling my new Blogger friend Sili from Germany (check out her blog...she is fabulous) that I took 4 years of German in school, I don't remember much BUT I do remember "O Tannenbaum" so I thought this was the perfect stamp for my first card with the new set.

I re colored the O Christmas Tree circle and printed it twice. The first one I cut with a circle Nestibility, the second one, I cut the tree and pop dotted to the 1st layer then layered it on circle/scallop Nestibility that I pierced the inner circle with a paper piercer. The star at the top of the tree was colored with a gold gel pen and added the tiny stars cut from the Cuttlebug Snowflake die to the tree and dotted the center with red gel pen. I added gold flat back pearls around the sentiment. The band was stamped with a Hero Arts stamp then heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I added a ribbon bow and called it a day! Now how easy is that?

I promised my husband this would be it for the day, we're off to pick up the girls to make a day of it with them before they leave. See you next time!

Thinking Of You

Good Morning Everyone! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are having a good week. Today's card is very plain and really quick and easy and perfect for dropping someone a little note to let them know you are thinking of them. And best of all...it is PINK!
The image is a Michael's dollar bin stamp that has been colored with Prisma Pencils and OMS then glittered and layered with circle/scallop Nestibilities. The background has been embossed with Cuttleug Textile embossing folder with score lines and the edge scalloped using Stampin Up scallop edge punch which flat back pearls and a ribbon knot has been added. Words are computer generated using Calibri font on the bold setting.
That's it for today. Thanks for taking the time to stop by today, please leave a comment so I know you were here. Have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow!

Simple Pleasures

Good Morning All! Well we are half way to the weekend...which will be sad or me, my son and daughter in law will be back from their cruise and picking the girls up on Saturday :(
I noticed that I had a lot of traffic on my blog yesterday and many you were able to pick up the free images. Isn't it great when you can put a card together with freebies? The image on today's card is also a freebie, it comes in the form of colored clip art, much like the decoupage images that are so popular. When I seen the image I saved it to a word document but didn't save the web site (I can't believe I did that) so I'm not able to give you the link to the web site BUT if you would like a copy of the image just leave me a comment here on my blog with your email address and I will gladly send it to you. I saved a total of 6 images which include a Mr/Mrs Turkey Pilgrims and a Harvest Wheelbarrel filled with Autumn fruits and veggies. I think the images are adorable and remind me of the Thanksgiving commercials for Publix, a regional grocery store we have here in Florida. Then I thought of my daughter in law and how she loved the Pilgrim salt and pepper shakers they offered years ago. When we sold our second home in North Carolina, I asked if there was anything she wanted from the house and all she wanted were those salt and pepper shaker so this will be her Thanksgiving card.

I printed the image several times and cut the 1st layer with a circle Nestibility, the second layer was the head and the body, the third layer was just the body, then pop dotted the layers to give a 3D effect and glittered the leaves. I put it on the background layer that was embossed with Cuttlebug Autumn embossing folder that was inked and added a few brads. The leaves were cut and inked with Martha Stewart Maple leaf punch and added a few sprigs of greenery that was cut with Martha Stewart branch punch along with an acorn that was cut with Cricut Doodlecharm cartridge and added an eyelet and tied t to the ribbon on the side band along with a bow. The sentiment is from the Cutting Cafe Autumn Day Printable Stamp Set that was re sized and re colored.

That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day!

Please note, I have received many request for the Pilgrim clip art images this morning but I cannot stress it enough, I need your email address, otherwise I don't know where to send it too

It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

Good Morning Everyone...Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are having a good day. Just a real quick card today but before I go into details I want to let you know that Verve Stamps has a Digi Freebie but only until 10/23. After I did the mittens for today's card, I went looking for a sentiment to add to the card and I came across the free download, so I will use the mittens from the freebie at another time. You can get the free download here.

I printed the mittens from a free coloring page found here on pink card stock then cut them out and added glitter gel pen accents, added an eyelet and flat back pearls. I attached them to a circle/scallop Nesestibility with craft yarn that was embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder and pierced the inner layer with a paper piercer. The background layer was embossed with Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder then glittered the embossed area. The sentiment is the free digi stamp from Verve Stamps that was re colored. I added the snowflakes that were cut with Cuttlebug Snowflake die and added flat back pearls.
That' it for today, again thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy your visit. Have you a great day.

Where's The Fire...

Good Morning Everyone. I hope you had a great weekend. For me, we had a wonderful surprise, well it wasn't a real surprise, because we knew they were coming but my oldest son and his family were here from Tennessee Saturday. He and his wife are going on a cruise so the girls will be staying with my ex-husband while they are gone. We had dinner with them on Saturday along with my youngest son's family. It was really nice to get everyone together. We hope to be able to do something with the girls this week. Last week we were setting record high tempetures, this week we will be setting records lows...go figure! It goes from 95 last week to the high 40's this week so we probably won't be doing much outside.
Today's card is just a quickie gift card holder for my husband's son's birthday. The image is a freebie from Dustin Pike that was colored with Prisma pencils and OMS then layered onto a rectangle/scallop Nestibility. The background was embossed with Cuttlebug Spots and Dots embossing folder. The sentiment is computer generated using Boopee font and cut with a rectangle/scallop Nestibility. I added a ribbon knot and some balloons that were cut with Cuttlebug Birthday die set that craft yarn was attached to.

That's all I have today, I hope to be back tomorrow but with our grandaughters here, I won't have much time for crafting or blogging. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day...Stay warm!

The image is from The Cutting Cafe Social Butterfly Set that was resized and re colored then cut with an oval/scallop Nestibility. I added a couple of silver flat back pearls and some metallic cord. The circle sentiment is The Cutting Cafe Thank You, Thank You...I Can't Say It Enough word circle that was re sized and re colored then cut with circle Nestibilities. The flowers were cut with the medium and small Marvy Daisy punch, a Michael's dollar bin punch and added flat back silver pearls. The leaves are EK Mountain Fern Punch. The background layer was scored at 1/2 inch intervals with Scor Pal and added a bow made with Bow Easy and butterflies that were punched with Martha Stewart 3 butterfly punch with silver pearls were added.
That's it for today, thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your weekend and I will see you Monday!

Season's Greetings

Good Morning Everyone...One day closer to the weekend...Yea! Thanks so much for taking the time to visit with me today, If you enjoy your visit, why not take a moment to leave me a comment...I'd love to hear from you and what you have to say!

I used The Cutting Cafe's Fancy Holiday Season Printable Stamps for today's card. This font is truly elegant and has 10 different sayings in the set. That Regina, she is something else! Leave it to her to come up with some of the most beautiful font for her Printable Stamps. And don't forget, you can re size and re color them, which is what I did for this card. I printed the sentiment then cut it with a square Nestibility and pop dotted it on the band that I added a ribbon and flat back gems. The poinsettias were cut from felt using the QuickKutz poinsettia die and added small flat back gems. Now how quick and easy is that?
That's it for today, hope to see you again tomorrow, til then Happy Crafting!

Let It Snow

Good Morning Everyone!
I had so much fun making today's card, I just love these little snowmen by Impression Obsession, the baby snowman reminds me so much of my grandson. The stamp is actually larger, I stamped the image then scanned it into the computer and put it into a word document so I could reduce it in size.

I colored the image with Prisma pencils and OMS, cut and layered it with a circle/scallop Nestibility and added glitter. The sentiment was computer generated using CK Wonderland font and cut with a Nestibility tag then and layered on a band was that was cut with a Fiskars Threading Water edge punch and added flat back pearls.. As much as I love the Cuttlebug snowflake dies, they were too large for this card so I cut the stars from the Cuttlebug Treetop 3 x 3 combo set and added flat back pearls to them.
That's it for today, thank you for stopping by, I hope to see you again tomorrow! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Warm Winter Wishes From Tom and Kelly

Good Morning! I know I am late posting my card this morning but we were out til the wee hours of the morning last night so I didn't get up before the crack of dawn as I usually do, and when I did get up, it was like I had been drugged and had a tough time waking up.
Today's card is really quick and easy. Remember the Thank You card Migdalia sent me a while ago? I just loved the paper she used, even though the camera didn't pick up the true beauty of the texture. When I asked her who's paper it was she told me of a little trick that she had learned along the way. That being, she stamped and colored on tissue paper, wrinkled it then glued it to a piece of card stock. This past weekend when we were at the dollar store, I picked up some tissue paper and thought I would try Migdalia technique and even though the camera doesn't show the texture, in real life it has a cloth like look. I layered it to a piece of metallic card stock then put it on the base card. The sentiment was computer generated using CK Wonderland font then cut and layered with a circle/scallop Nestibility. The snowflake was cut with Cuttlebug Snowflake die and added a flat back gem. I added a narrow band and a ribbon bow. The tag is cut with Cuttlebug Babyface Alphabet die with a cut with a circle Nestibility added. The holly leaves were cut with Punch a Bunch holly punch and added smaller flat back gems.
That's it for today...Thanks for stopping by...enjoy your day!

Merry and Bright

Good Morning! I hope you all had a nice weekend and to those of you that may work for a bank or a government office and have a 3 day weekend, I hope you enjoy your day off! I worked for a bank for 23 years years before my job was outsource a year ago this past July and my husband would say the banks would use any excuse to get a day off...LOL! Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy your visit. Won't you take a moment to sign my guestbook or leave a comment to let me know you were here.
Today's card features a lovable Penny Black hedgehog image that was colored with Prisma pencils and OMS then cut and layered with circle/scallop Nestibilities. The inner circle was pierced with a paper piercer. Flower Soft was added to the hat and a little bit of glitter was added below the skate then pop dotted. The band was cut with EK diamond scallop edge punch with a ribbon added then a bow was tied to the ribbon. The sentiment is from The Cutting Cafe Christmas Circle Stamp Set that was re colored and cut with a circle Nestibility and layered onto the tag that was cut from the Cuttlebug Babyface Alphabet. The corners were cut with the Cuttlebug Vintage 2 x 2 die and added flat back pearls. The snowflakes were cut with the Cuttlebug snowflake die glittered and flat back pearls were added. All of the Cuttlebug dies used have 2 or 3 layers of card stock glue together before cutting.
That's all I have today...Enjoy your day!

Wishing You A Season Of Love

I'm back...with today's card. It didn't photograph well because of the bouce back from the metallic paper, I must have tried 2 dozen times or more then finally said forget it. I usually have trouble but am able to get at least 1 picture without the glare but for some reason, I wasn't able to this time. I've been wanting to do a Christmas card in pink (you know how I LOVE pink) and I thought this image would be perfect for it. Although I'm not sure that it doesn't look more like a Valentine card...LOL! Anyway...
The Penny Black image was colored with Prisma pencils and OMS then cut with an oval/scallop Nestibility, layered and pop dotted.. Flowersoft was added to the hats and a little bit of glitter under the sled. The background was embossed with Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder that was glittered (although it doesn't show in the picture) The snowflakes were cut with Cuttlebug Snowflake die that 2 or 3 layers were glue together before cutting and added a flat back pearl. The sentiment is computer generated using LD Cute Curls font. The star was cut from Cuttlebug Treetop 3 x 3 Combo set that 2 or 3 layers were glue together before cutting and added a flat back pearl. I added a ribbon bow and a heart charm.
That's it for today...Enjoy your weekend and I will see you Monday!

Sweet Holiday Wishes

Good Morning Everyone!!! I woke up this morning thinking it was Wednesday...you know what that means...yep, it means I have an extra day for crafting...WOOHOO! For some reason, I just can't get back into my Thanksgiving Day cards so here is another Christmas one---I thought I'd send it to one of my granddaughter's for Christmas.
I got these Gingerbread buttons at Walmart but when I got them home, I noticed NO holes, NO way to sew them to anything but yet they were marked "buttons"...go figure, I guess that's WalMart for you! Anyway, I glued the gingerbread girl to layers that were cut with
circle/scallop Nestibility than I added rain hearts and pierced holes in the inner circle, each layer is pop dotted. The words are computer generated using CK Wonderland font. The band was embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder and layered with a band that was cut with Fiskars Threading Water Border punch and added a ribbon bow. The words on the tag are also computer generated using CK Wonderland font and cut with Spellbinder tag then tied to the ribbon. The corners are cut with the square Nestibilities then cut at a diagonal and added a EK scallop corner punch. The holly leaves were cut with Punch a Bunch holly punch and added buttons that I knotted with contrasting embroidery thread. The snowflake was cut with Cuttlebug Snowflake die that 3-4 layers of card stock were glued together before cutting and glittered. I added a flat back gemstone.
That's it for today...Have a GREAT day!

Warm Winter Wishes

Good Morning...Happy Friday! It's a full moon and I ALWAYS have difficulty sleeping during a full moon so I thought I'd do some crafting. As much as I love Autumn, I think I'm orange, brown and golded out for the time being.
I wanted to turn my focus to Christmas today so I started with my all time favorite snowman stamp by Penny Black. Although I have used this stamp before, it is my favorite and I don't think I will ever get tired of it. I colored the image with Prisma pencils and OMS then cut it using the out of the frame circle/scallop Nestibilites technique then added some glitter and some flower soft. Flat back pearls were added to the scallops. The sentiment is computer generate using CK Wonderland font and cut with Spellbinders tag. It was attached to the image using craft yarn. The background layer is embossed with Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder and I added some snowflakes that were cut with Cuttlebug snowflake die and glittered and flat back pearls were added.
Thanks for stopping by. As I mentioned yesterday, I usually don't craft on the weekend but be sure to stop by tomorrow, not only will I have a few postings but a chance for you to win some fabulous Cutting Cafe Printable Stamps. That's all I can say about it for now but I've done a little something out of my comfort zone that I'm really pleased with. So until tomorrow...happy crafting!

Happy Thanksgiving

Good Morning...I know...I know...I'm a little late this morning BUT it's for a good reason! Regina at The Cutting Cafe is doing another give away to begin on Saturday and because I normally don't craft on the weekends, I was working on something for the give away and lost all track of time. Without further delay...here is today's card---

The image is the November calendar from the 2009 Calendar Set from the Cutting Cafe that was re sized and re colored with the circle of leaves from the Autumn Days Set also from the Cutting Cafe. They were printed then cut with a circle/scallop Nestibility and a rain dot was added. The leaves were cut with Martha Stewart Maple Leaf punch then inked with a few sprigs of Martha Stewart Branch punch added. An eyelet was added with craft yarn then tied to the ribbon bow. The Sentiment was computer generated using bold Gisha font then cut with a Spellbinders tag with flat back gold tone gems added, along with larger gems added to the base of the card.

That's all I Have today...hope to see you tomorrow! Enjoy your day!
